On behalf of Wynyard Parish Council (Hartlepool) as Chair can I take the opportunity to introduce ourselves on our newly established account on ‘Wynyard Residents’ Facebook group. This account will be a further means of communicating with all residents of Wynyard on the progress WPC(H) is making covering our Hartlepool boundary area. Information will also be published on our web site (wynyard-hartlepool-pc.gov.uk) and on our notice boards located on Wynyard Park and Wynyard Village – near to the Dere Street play area.
As no doubt you are aware Wynyard as a whole is covered by two Parish Councils – ‘Wynyard Parish Council (Hartlepool)‘ coming under H’pool Borough Council boundary and ‘Wynyard Parish Council ‘- Stockton Borough Council boundary. I understand that this may have caused or led to some confusion, but our titles are determined by the local authorities.
WPC(H) has only been in existence since May 2022 and we have spent the past 11 months establishing ourselves within the community we serve and representing residents’ concerns regarding the significant ongoing developments within our boundary across Wynyard Park and Wynyard Village. We hope that a strong and positive working relationship will be established with colleagues within WPC (Stockton) in order that we can represent both communities of Wynyard as a whole.
Due to potential privacy issues or concerns that residents may wish to make, we would ask that these must be sent directly to the clerk via our website – we will aim to answer or respond to these within 3 working days.
